2007 Bead Challenge

A Bead Made by You



You must be a member of the Indiana Bead Society to enter.

The Challenge:
Make a beaded necklace with the main focal center of attraction bead made by you. The focal bead(s) could be air dried clay, baked clay, fired clay, fired silver clay, fabric, beaded bead over a glass or wooden bead, a hollow beaded bead, lampwork bead, glass slumped, carved or what ever way you care to create a bead.

The rest of the necklace can be made as you see fit but using beads as the main part of the design. Just incorporate beads they do not need to be made by you, but if course could be.

Please mark the necklace with a tag stating the materials or method used to make the main bead.

Judging will include the best focal bead, the best overall necklace and the most unusual necklace. The first prize winner gets to create the Challenge for 2008.
